TERMS OF SERVICE

1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS

By accessing or using the AutoSubs website and the AutoSubs After Effects extension (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, you are prohibited from using the Service.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

AutoSubs provides an AI-powered subtitle generation and editing tool for Adobe After Effects. The Service includes cloud-based transcription, style presets, and a timeline-integrated editing interface.

3. USER ACCOUNTS

To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND BILLING

AutoSubs is a subscription-based service.

• Billing: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). Payments are processed through our third-party provider, Mayar.
• Renewals: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel it through your account dashboard.
• Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current paid period.
• Refunds: Except as required by law, paid subscription fees are non-refundable.

5. LICENSE AND USAGE LIMITS

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, AutoSubs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service.

• Device Limit: Each license allows activation on a maximum of two (2) devices simultaneously.
• Restrictions: You may not lease, sell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer your license. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the AutoSubs extension.
• Abuse: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that exceed usage limits or engage in fraudulent activity.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of AutoSubs. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

7. USER CONTENT

You retain all rights to the audio files and subtitles generated using the Service. By using the Service, you grant AutoSubs a limited license to process your audio files solely for the purpose of providing the transcription service.

8. TERMINATION

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

In no event shall AutoSubs, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

10. DISCLAIMER

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

11. CHANGES TO TERMS

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page.
